Job Description:

The MPES Services of L3Harris Technologies is currently seeking an experienced project manager in Newport RI.  The candidate will manage projects or processes associated with a larger complex submarine program and work to achieve targets with moderate impact on program results.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for managing small projects within a matrixed organization, communicating with stakeholders internal and external to the organization.
• Manages projects or processes with general oversight.
• Responsible for process improvement in a large complex submarine program. Drawing on best practices and lessons identified.
• Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Works alongside the PMO and TDA to complete projects and processes at multiple levels of classification with various stakeholders.
• Contributes to completion of specific projects.

Qualifications: 

• ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED at start of employment.
• Security professional with proficient knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management tenants.
• Bachelor’s degree and 4 years relevant experience (8 years experience in lieu of a degree).
