About your next Challenge as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - S:
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will perform work and be ready to sign a Maintenance Release for their work. The employee shall be the holder of a Transport Canada AME license, appropriately rated. The AME shall have demonstrated acceptable levels of knowledge of an Approved Maintenance Organization and its Quality Program and have been issued an Aircraft Authorization Authority to sign a maintenance release in respect to work performed on aeronautical products.
What will you do:
- Reporting any un-airworthy conditions discovered (including challenging working conditions).
- Utilizing certified/calibrated standard measuring and test equipment.
- Marshalling, fueling and towing of aircraft.
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Assuming responsibility for his work as indicated by his signature/stamp;
- Performing duties such as repair, modification and maintenance of aircraft in accordance with approved maintenance procedures;
- Familiarisation of the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM) and related processes;
- Adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations at all times;
- Ability to travel on board to aircraft to service and carry out repairs as needed throughout the world;
- Complete all assigned training and tasks on time;
- Participating in the Safety Management System Program Committee on Aircraft, if requested.
- Comply with the approved processes.
- Familiarization with L3H MAS Policies and Processes.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- You must hold an AME S license (mandatory);
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work well in a team environment;
- Excellent written and verbal Communication Skills; and
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
