Job Title: Integration & Test Engineer Intern Level C
Job Location: Melbourne, FL
Job Description:
The Integration & Test Engineering Intern will provide program level support to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs. The intern will learn the software test process for all test-related activities within mission-critical programs and get exposure to the development, coordination, and implementation of test processes. As an I&T Engineering Intern, you will be working to help support the global aviation community with advanced systems and services that significantly increase the safety, security and capacity of global air traffic management systems to meet the growing demand of air transportation operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test cases & procedures
- Develop automated test scripts to verify requirements
- Conduct tests and document results
- Use software tools, scripting, and software/hardware troubleshooting
- Analyze systems requirements
- Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
- Communicate and interface regularly with teammates, other disciplines, and management
- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Previous work experience with software testing
- Proactive and works independently with little supervision or guidance
- Effective communicator with a focus on customer service
- Coursework and/or experience with Python scripting
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other technical discipline.
