Configuration and Data Manager

About the opportunity:
L3Harris is seeking an experienced Configuration and Data Manager for the Airservices Australia Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ASA-ENMP). In this role the Configuration and Data Manager is responsible for generation and maintenance of all program documentation delivery schedule and processing, releasing and control of customer delivery of master program documents. You will have the opportunity to interface with multiple consortium members in the execution of the program.

Roles & Responsibilities:
The Configuration and Data Manager reports to Project Engineering and is required to regularly interface with multiple disciplines and levels of management to ensure adequate control and traceability of all program artifacts throughout the program lifecycle.
Some roles and responsibilities include:
- Where necessary, establish, modify and implement workflows and data structures to enable fulfillment of effective Data and Configuration Management for the Project;
- Provide advice and guidance on methods, procedures and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation;
- Act as liaison between management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding configuration analysis documentation;
- Perform Data Management (DM) responsibilities for the administration and change control of program documents; forms; templates; policies; process directives, procedures, work instructions and the vaulting of master documents, white papers and patents;
- Establish SWCM, HWCM and DM work instructions and procedures;
- Perform regular configuration audits on established baselines;

Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree and or Graduate Degree with extensive prior related experience or equivalent, relevant industry experience.
- Extensive experience working in Agile development environments;
- Extensive experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools;
- Extensive experience with Configuration and Data Management tools
- Extensive experience in a Configuration Management role;
Desirable skills:
- Configuration Management Certifications (CMPIC, NDIA);
- Knowledge of EIA-649B/C International Configuration Management Standard;
- Knowledge and some experience with Software CM, Hardware CM and Data Management Procedures and Toolsets, specifically Confluence, Jira and SharePoint;
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products
