Job Description:
The Inventory Management Support Clerk will be responsible for accurately keeping inventory control in ERP system and physical locations. This could include receiving material into stock and putting away into new location, transacting material for kits or electronic requests, physically moving material and transacting location moves, physical inventory counts throughout the year, delivering parts to labs whether in kits or electronic requests, etc. and other stockroom functions designated by management. The ERP system is used for all transactions.
Essential Functions:
- Accurately move and transact material in a timely manner.
- Manage inventory locations.
- Manage inventory documentation.
- Perform transfers, reservations, e-fills, kitting, etc.
- Enter data accurately into Costpoint (ERP system)
- Data entry into Excel to provide traceability and metrics.
- Communicate product or documentation discrepancies.
- Assist multiple supporting functions with various material related duties.
- Perform tasks designated by management.
- 5S responsibilities for designated area
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Edge
- Experience with Costpoint/TipQA is a bonus.
- Experience with data management / processing preferred.
