Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Senior Specialist, Program Finance Analyst to support a highly dynamic business area consisting of traditional development and production programs as well as government and international based products. This position will be responsible for supporting program finance on multi-year cost-plus DoD programs. The work consists of managing complex projects or processes with general oversight. It also require communication within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures. The Sr. Specialist PFA also contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with a direct impact on the departmental results.
Opportunities for problem solving and innovation are complex and may require comprehensive information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Problems typically involve consideration of multiple issues, job areas or specialties. Problems are generally solved through creative solutions, drawing from prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues.
- Earned Value (EVMS) reporting
- Program Review preparation and support
- General customer reporting (CDRLs)
- Financial forecast preparation and analysis
- Establishing cadence for monthly financial cycle
- Engaging with Program Management and related functional teams to drive program success
- Interpreting L3Harris policies and procedures, and influencing program teams to follow best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and a minimum of 6 years’ experience OR Minimum of 4 years’ Experience with a Master’s Degree.
- 4+ years’ Experience as a Program Financial Analyst
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with a financial ERP system, such as PeopleSoft, Oracle, or SAP.
- Experience with a financial forecasting system, such as Hyperion.
- Experience with Earned Value Management tools (MPM, Cobra, etc.)
- Strong leadership skill set, including the capability to interface with customers and form strong business partnerships with key program leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively solve problems and issues in a timely manner with general supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with people of all levels within the organization.
- Strong communication skills (Oral, Written, Listening).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $80,000 - $149,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
