Job Description:

L3Harris Londonderry, a leading designer and manufacturer of laser, night vision and electro-optic devices is seeking a strategic, analytical, and dynamic individual to direct our Integrated Business Planning Process at our Integrated Vision Solutions Sector. This role is responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and execution of our integrated business planning process. This role ensures that the company's business plans are aligned across various functions including finance, sales, operations, and supply chain. The IBP Manager will lead cross-functional teams to achieve a balanced and strategic approach to demand and supply planning, financial forecasting, and product lifecycle management. This role will report to the Integrated Vision Solutions President and is critical to the daily operation of the business.

Essential Functions: The Director of Integrated Business Planning will:

  • Lead the monthly IBP process, ensuring collaboration and alignment across all departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to review forecasts, inventory levels, supply chain constraints, and financial performance.
  • Coordinate with finance, sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain to develop accurate demand forecasts and supply plans.
  • Prepare and present executive summaries and detailed reports on the status of the business plan to senior management.
  • Develop and present scenarios to support business decision making.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within the business plan and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience in business planning. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience in business planning.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong understanding of integrated business planning principles and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
