Job Description:
- Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test
- Support design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures for testing and troubleshooting of components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, and systems
- Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
- Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results
- Support hardware and test software design, integration, test, and maintenance of laboratory and specialized end item test equipment
- Support formal systems acceptance testing activities
- Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers
- Support failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields
- Operation of laboratory test equipment (specifically RF equipment)
- Architectural design of Unit Under Test (UUT) Special Test Equipment (STE)
- C++, Python, LabView software coding experience
- Electronics Troubleshooting skills and understanding of digital, analog, and RF electronic circuitry.
- Ability to read and understand engineering documents, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Proficiency in the use of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 0 to 1 years of experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills:
- RF engineering, knowledge of aerospace systems
- Automated test software and scripting operation of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf equipment
- Electrical and Mechanical design of Unit Under Test (UUT) Special Test Equipment (STE)
- Power supply systems and antenna design knowledge
- System Test Requirements allocation, analysis, and verification
- Presentation and communication skills (verbal/written/visual)
- Problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
- DoD Secret Clearance
- GPA of 3.0 or greater
