Job Description:

The Lead Program Management will drive Program Excellence ensuring excellence in the execution and performance of all programs at Maritime Power and Energy Solutions, Anaheim site. This role will be a Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of job area and in-depth knowledge of project management. Manages large, complex project initiatives of substantial importance to the organization with minimal oversight or direction.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program management framework that promotes best practices across all program portfolios that support L3Harris and MPES’ mission and goals.
  • Provides leadership and guidance to PMO staff to ensure program teams execute on time and on budget.
  • Design, establish, and maintain processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all program portfolios.
  • Develop robust reporting mechanisms to track balanced performance metrics and provide regular updates to site leadership.
  • Communicates within and outside of the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes, and approaches.
  • Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products.
  • Provides input into new products/processes and implements operational plans that have measurable impact on business or functional results.
  • Reports to PMO leadership and collaborates with program portfolio leads to deliver on commitments and meet L3Harris growth, profitability and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Support and contribute to training initiatives aimed at enhancing the skills of program management professionals within the PMO.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with nine (9) years of prior Program Management experience.
  • Graduate Degree with seven (7) years of prior Program Management experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior Program Management experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $122,500 - $227,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
