Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join our Systems Integration & Test team at our Wilmington, MA facility. As a Systems Engineering Integration & Test engineer you will collaborate with technical teams to deliver across a broad range of engineering efforts including technical proposal responses, systems / hardware design & development. The ideal candidate for this role will have Gimbal / Electrical / Optical space systems hardware I&T experience in the planning, design, integration of subsystems, requirements verification testing, and assist in the development of required test support equipment. Experience in developing requirements and supporting test campaign for EO Functionality/Performance testing, Vibration/Launch/Shock loads, Environmental Space Simulation using thermal vacuum chambers, and EMI environmental testing.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the coordination of technical input across multi-disciplinary engineering teams for system level detailed test plan development.
- Applies System Engineering Integration & Test methods, standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques to complex electro optical payloads and overall satellite space vehicles.
- Understand specification of test requirements, establish test requirements flow down across Space hardware subsystems and critical ground support equipment.
- Support System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), critical design reviews (CDR), development of system level integration and test flows for the System Engineering Integration & Test content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6-9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4-7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10-13 years of prior related experience.
- 5-9 Years’ experience demonstrating system level capabilities.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft MS Tools, Visio, Word and Excel.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Security Clearance, US Citizenship mandatory requirement.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
- Experience with System Engineering Integration & Test processes for Aerospace Payload and Space Vehicle systems.
- Experience with environmental space simulation and equivalent launch energy testing of exquisite electro-optical satellite flight hardware systems.
