Reports to: Senior Vice President, Targeting & Sensor Systems (TSS)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic leader to join our team as a Senior Strategy leader in the TSS Sector, reporting directly to the Vice President. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of the annual Strategic Growth Plan, ensuring alignment across Division leadership, Segment teams, and investment strategies. You will drive key initiatives, support the daily cadence of the business, provide market insights, and offer thought leadership to influence sector direction.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategy development, particularly within the defense sector, and a strong understanding of both domestic and international markets. You will be responsible for crafting go-to-market strategies, conducting competitive analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive growth and optimize the TSS portfolio. Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex technical and business information to senior leadership are essential.
This role requires a balance of strategic vision and tactical execution, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the annual Strategic Growth Plan, ensuring alignment between Division leadership, and Segment teams.
- Support the execution of the business by managing the daily cadence and being a key advisor
- Continuously improve a cohesive strategy addressing market needs, technology development and organizational alignment.
- Drive key strategic initiatives to advance the TSS Sector’s growth objectives.
- Provide market insights and competitive analysis to optimize product offerings.
- Develop go-to-market and monetization strategies for products and services.
- Create impactful business presentations for senior leadership, simplifying complex information into actionable insights.
- Evaluate and recommend joint ventures and partnerships to expand market reach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess and refine the TSS Sector’s portfolio to ensure long-term alignment with growth objectives.
- Have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
- Proven success in strategy development, with a demonstrated ability to influence teams and senior leaders.
- In-depth knowledge of domestic and international defense markets, budgets, and government acquisition processes.
- Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate and provide strategic recommendations to internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management tools.
- Familiarity with the ISR market in both domestic and international markets
- Agile in analytical thinking and quick to adopt new tools and methods.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to follow direction and execute tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to influence and make recommendations effectively at all organizational levels, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
- Consulting experience, particularly in strategic development or management.
- Experience with management and visualization of opportunity data (CRM, Tableau, etc.).
