Essential Functions:
- Responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment at a main operating base and deployed locations.
- Knowledge of requirements, repair, disposal, distribution and spares leveling as well as logistics planning, programming and budgeting systems.
- Ability to analyze historical data, reported usage, trends, failure data, past and future program data and select the appropriate demand planning methods for assigned items.
- Issuing and picking of material in support of the customer’s needs.
- Packing and shipping of material including the raising of commercial invoices and customs documentation.
- Assembly of material into locally fabricated kits.
- Inventorying of warehouse and deployable spares kits.
- Enter and manipulate data in a logistics management system.
- Create and use reports and queries to analyze demand patterns to support inventory improvement rates.
- Process reparable and obsolete material returns to depot.
- Dispose of scrap material safely IAW local policy and procedures.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Able to Travel up to 10% of the time.
- Able to lift to 50 lbs. up to 5% of the time utilizing proper lifting techniques and climb ladders daily.
- Able to use material handling aids such as pallet jacks, height adjustable carts or forklift (able to obtain a forklift license within the first year).

- FEDLOG/PUBLOG and NATO Codification
- International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) experience
- Material planning and management, inventory control.
- Possess excellent communication skills, quality commitment, customer focus, strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable.
- Be a self-starter and team player.
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR/ITAR laws, rules, and regulations
- Property Management / Inventory
- Active Secret Security Clearance preferred, but not required
- Industrial Packaging / Military Packaging experience
